I’ve worked as a licensed psychologist in Madison for nearly 25 years.  I pride myself in being able to effectively work with adults, adolescents and children with a wide range of mental health issues.  In addition to co-founding The Psychology Clinic, Inc., in 1990, I am a supervising psychologist in the crisis and ongoing counseling / medication  management units at the Mental Health Center of Dane County.  I have also formally supervised doctoral students and psychiatric residents for the past 25 years.  

I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of the staff at The Psychology Clinic, Inc.  We dedicate ourselves to serving individuals in need using innovative and practical methods.  During the past 20 years, our clinic has earned a reputation of meeting the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, institutions and companies by efficiently providing accurate assessments and doing whatever is necessary to facilitate positive change.

My personal clinical strengths include the rapid development of trusting counseling relationships, accessing the healing powers of enthusiasm and humor, the accurate identification of clients’ fears and problem areas and a willingness to roll up my sleeves to actively assist clients in facing and overcoming their fears.  I sincerely enjoy the coaching aspect of my practice.
