Laurie Asplund is a licensed Professional Counselor, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Nationally Certified Counselor and is specifically trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Ms. Asplund works primarily with abused and neglected children and their families; children in foster care; as well as with individuals diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder.

Laurie is also an accomplished writer and columnist as well as the owner and creator of L.A. Cards; a greeting line dedicated to those she serves.  Ms. Asplund has also written and published the book “Justice Before Mercy” a memoir about convicting a sexual predator 35 years after the fact.
