Laura Daly (she/they) holds their Professional Counselor in-training license at The Psychology Clinic. She provides mental health counseling services to adults facing challenges of general anxiety, social anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, codependency, emotional dysregulation, issues of motivation and more. She came to the field of psychotherapy after working with multilingual families in public schools in the US and abroad for 15 years. She has been providing service facilitation at The Psychology Clinic since 2024. She also provides skill development to clients wanting to improve their mind-body connection. Laura brings presence and genuine curiosity into sessions to help her clients reach their goals. She uses Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Nature-Based and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy interventions in talk therapy sessions. She also offers walk-and-talk sessions when clinically appropriate. Laura is trained in EMDR for when clients need something beyond talk therapy and Ketamine Integration for clients who have participated in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. Laura has personal experience in immigration/ emmigration, coparenting, entrepreneurship, eating disorders, creating chosen family and what it looks like to rebuild after major life transitions.
