Psychologist
Clinical Director

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Wisconsin. I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University in 1995.

I have been working in private practice in the Sauk County area since 1997. People often ask me ‘Why did you become a psychologist?’ I answer, “because I’ve always been fascinated by the human mind and human behavior.” I truly enjoy helping people better understand why they think, feel and behave the ways that they do and working with them to help bring about positive and lasting changes. I feel I am well-trained as a generalist and able to work with a variety of behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety, anger management, stress management and coping with grief and loss. I also find I really like working with couples on enhancing their relationships, angry teenagers to help them become less angry and like themselves better, and adults struggling with the effects of trauma and abuse. Most importantly, I believe in providing a welcoming place for all clients to work on issues that are important to them.

I reside in Madison, Wisconsin. I feel very fortunate to work and live in beautiful south central Wisconsin. Whether it is hiking at Devil’s Lake, kayaking down the Wisconsin River, taking in a play at American Players Theatre or relaxing with friends and family in my sunroom, I truly enjoy all that this area has to offer.
